AmandaHardy Amanda Hardy
Executive Director 

Amanda Hardy, Executive Director, of the Grace Symphony Orchestra has over eight years of event organization and management experience in the event planning & hospitality industry. Amanda has helped other nonprofit organizations bring their events to a new level of exposure & success.

Amanda has been with the GSO since July 2016, since then she help set a record high attendance at the December “Merry Christmas” Concert, managed to bring in more sponsors from the community and helped the GSO give back to children in the community by partnering with CAM (Cypress Assistance Ministries) in December 2016 for the Toy Drive, which brought in over 100 toys.

Amanda holds a Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Marketing and minor in Management from the University of Houston-Downtown.



Javier Acuna
Print Media, Publicity, & Concert Manager

R. Javier Acuna has been a merchandise manager at a home improvement store for the last 10 years.  He was president of Our Lady of Prompt Succor School and church 3 day festival for 7 years.   This included live entertainment, coordinating rides, food booths and more.  He is a member of Christ the Redeemer Church and lives in Houston with his wife, Laurie and 18 year old daughter.  He also has a 25 year old son.


Laurie Acuna
Membership & Finance

Laurie L. Acuna is a manager at an offshore construction company and has been with the company for 34 years.  She was on the school board of Our Lady of Prompt Succor School and on the finance committee for the Our Lady of Prompt Succor School and church festival. She is a member of Christ the Redeemer Church and lives in Houston with her husband, Javier and their 18 year old daughter.  She also has a 25 year old son.  


Elizabeth Ricarte
Social Media & Publicity

Elizabeth Ricarte, CMD has over 30 years shopping center management experience in marketing, management and specialty leasing.

In addition to working for Metro National at Memorial City Mall, Elizabeth is the VP PR for Memorial City Toastmasters, team mom for Resilient Challengers volleyball team (her daughter’s team) and Grade Level Advisor for Cypress Creek National Charity League.

Married to maestro Ricarte for over 23 years, Elizabeth says she definitely fulfills her passion for music with her husband’s endeavors and  says she knows just enough about music to critique his performances! Elizabeth serves attends Champions Forest Baptist Church.
