Chairman of the Board
Doug Zimmerman currently serves as the President of LMG Automation, a division of Lockwood International. Lockwood specializes in industrial distribution of pipe, valves, fittings and automation to the energy sector and has offices worldwide. Doug has been in this business for over 30 years and ran his own company, Envalco Corp., for 15 years before selling to MRC. He currently attends Faithbridge United Methodist Church and is also involved in his professional society, The International Society for Automation (ISA). He has two beautiful children who are his pride and joy. Ben is 18 and attends UT Austin, studying Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering, and Katy is 13 and swims competitively for FINNS.
|Robert “Corky” Cartwright
Robert “Corky” Cartwright is Professor of Computer Science at Rice University. He earned a bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in Applied Mathematics from Harvard College in 1971 and a doctoral degree in Computer Science from Stanford University in 1977 under the supervision of David Luckham and John McCarthy. After serving as an Assistant Professor at Cornell University from 1976 to 1980, he joined the faculty of Rice University, where he helped found the Computer Science Department in 1984. He has been a tenured member of the Rice faculty since 1981.
